HickoryTech assists with creation and set-up of your tariffs as part of the implementation process. You then have the option to maintain your tariffs using Tariff Manager or continue to have HickoryTech provide this maintenance on your behalf.
The Tariff Manager application starts with a blank slate. Tariffs are created in a tree structure from scratch or by selecting an existing structure from your production or test database to use as a template. Once created, the new tariff is then saved and tested off-production. This allows you to create or update tariffs and test them without updating the source file. The user can also pull-up production tariffs and save them to a test area without making updates to live data.
At any point, you can export your pricing data to an historical versioning file, where it can be re-implemented in the future. For example, a holiday special rate could be saved and used again with any edits the following month or year.
